Yesterday at approximately 3:30 p.m., the Helper City Fire Department was dispatched to an area called third point, near Kenilworth, where a lightning strike had resulted in a tree fire.

The fire, one of three that day, was contained and put out with the help of Helper City and Price City Fire Departments. The other two fires, at a point called Ronco also close to Kenilworth, were extinguished by the forest service.

None of the fires resulted in any monetary damage, though all three trees had to be taken down as a result of the blazes.
