A total of 17 students participated in Pinnacle Canyon Academy’s school-wide spelling bee in hopes of scoring victories and representing the school at the next round of competition.
Three students qualified for the honor. Sage Behling finished in first, Hadley Dunn came in second and Stetson Motte rounded out the finishers in third.
The three spellers will compete on Thursday at the region bee. The region bee will take place in Moab and qualify the top spellers for the national bee hosted in Washington D.C.
