A three-vehicle accident sent two juveniles to the hospital on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident occurred at 12:16 p.m. on East Main Street in Castle Dale in front of Fatty’s Restaurant. A pickup truck collided with a passenger car that was pushed into a vehicle parked in front of Fatty’s. Two juveniles in the passenger car suffered injuries and were transported to the hospital. The driver of the truck was not injured.

Ferron and Huntington ambulances transported the patients because Castle Dale did not have a ambulance crew available at the time of the accident. The Emery County Sheriff’s Office responded along with Castle Dale Fire Department. The Utah Highway Patrol investigated the accident.
