TougHer gym hosted its second annual Sweat for Vets event at the Carbon County Event Center on Friday.
The purpose of the competition is to raise funds to benefit veterans. Both men and women were encouraged to sign up and compete.
There were five events that helped determine the winners in both categories: atomic push ups, box jumps, plank up downs, kettle bell thrusters and hanging leg raises.
Michael Schmitz was the winner in the men’s division while Melany Weaver took first in the women’s. First place winners were awarded with the choice of an Amazon Echo Dot or Apple Watch.
