Proceeds from the lamb fry will benefit Travis Quinn and his family.

Even though the Castle Valley Pageant has been discontinued, the traditional lamb fry will carry on.
Emery County Commissioners and the American Legion Posts from Ferron, Orangeville and Huntington have joined together to host the lamb fry on Wednesday, July 31 and Thursday, Aug. 1 at the Rec. Center Park in Castle Dale. The lamb fry will begin at 5 p.m. both evenings.
There will be lamb and teriyaki chicken meals offered. The cost of the meals for adults and children over 12 are $12 for the combo or $10 for either chicken or lamb. Children under twelve are $10 for the combo or $8 for chicken or lamb. Children under five are free.
All of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Travis Quinn family. Quinn, a resident of East Carbon, is battling stage 4 cancer of the colon and GI tract. He is the father of four young boys, ages 7 and 5, as well as twins about 18 months old. He is the son of Dan and Doris Quinn of Castle Dale.
