Carbon County resident John David Stickney appeared in the Seventh District Court of Price on Monday afternoon to be arraigned on a number of offenses relating to a vandalism spree in August of last year.

According to information from the Price City Police Department, Stickney along with a juvenile from Price rode down streets within the city, breaking mirrors of cars with a bat as they drove by.

Several school busses from Carbon School District as well as Pinnacle Canyon Academy also had several windows broken during the acts of vandalism.

At the time of Stickney’s booking, there were over 60 known victims.

Stickney appeared in person with his attorney Don Torgerson, while the state was represented in the proceedings by Jeremy Humes.

A request was made for a trial to a jury and a date was requested. Upon counseling with both parties, the court moved to set a trial date for Oct. 17 and 18 at 9 a.m. both days. A pre-trial conference was also set for Sept. 18.
