Huntington City residents were able to begin Thursday’s cool crisp Thanksgiving morning by running, walking or “trotting” a 5K around Huntington. Several individuals, including many families, participated in Huntington City’s annual turkey trot that has been a tradition for several years.
This year’s winners in the men’s division were Daniel Bott, who took first, Easton Gordon in second and Wyatt Cox in third. The women’s division was won by Katie Player, with Bethany Justice coming in second and Charlotte Bott taking third. In the youth division, Kabrie Gordon was first followed by McKinley Sharpe and Fishere Jones in second and third, respectively.
Every participant received a turkey trot t-shirt.
