During the Carbon County Commission meeting that took place on the evening of March 1, Rose Barnes took time to congratulate two hard working members of the road department and awarded them with the title of the employees of the month for March.
Daniel Campbell and Ray Peterson were given this honor. Barnes said that they continually do a phenomenal job. With these harsh winter months, they have worked hard as leaders to ensure that the roads are safe for the community members.
A representative of the road department nominated the duo, stating that a team is only as good as a leader and they are great ones. Commissioner Jae Potter then also thanked the men, stating that he and his wife had recently discussed that there should be a Snow-Removal Appreciation Day.
The men will have their photo displayed in the Carbon County Administration Building throughout the month.
