Helper City Mayor Lenise Peterman announced last week that a new grant was awarded by Union Pacific for the model train exhibit at the Helper Museum.

The mayor explained that the funding, which amounts to $5,000, will be used to ensure that the train is functioning. It will also enhance the landscape that surrounds the exhibit.

“Look for these upgrades over the next several months as we finish up windows and can move on to this project,” said Mayor Peterman.
