The United Way of Eastern Utah has hosted an essentials drive challenge over the past weeks. For the challenge, local care services partnered together to help those in need by gathering everyday essential items. The drive will continue through March 9.
“During this time, we will be collecting essential items that we often do not think about,” the United Way of Eastern Utah shared. “This is a good opportunity for us as a community to meet very practical needs for these families.”
Requested donations, include but are not limited to new and unused toiletries, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, deodorants, first aid kits, razors, socks, underwear, towels and laundry detergent. Items similar to those mentioned will also be accepted.
Those interested in donating may take items to the following drop off locations: Absolute Compassion/VA Clinic, Castleview Hospital, Community Nursing Services, Emery County Car & Rehabilitation, Rocky Mountain Care, Parkdale Health & Rehab, Pinnacle Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Symbii Home Health & Hospice, the Carbon County Senior Citizen Center and United Way of Eastern Utah.
