Come and learn how to be a “reading pirate” at Huntington Library’s Pirate Academy complete with swashbuckling games, hornswaggling stories and treasures of all kinds. Seadogs and scallywags are all invited to come and walk the plank.
The academy will kick off on Jan. 10 at the Huntington Library. The one-hour event, in partnership with KUED, will begin at 3 p.m.
Pirates who successfully complete their training and reading treasure map will be invited to the pirate graduation on Feb. 7 from 3 to 4 p.m. for more pirate fun.
