Update: At approximately 8:02 this morning, a two-vehicle accident occurred at mile post 204 on Highway 6.
An adult male was transported for medical attention and is in critical condition. Two children and one adult female were also transported with minor injuries.
“Weather had a factor in the crash although we do not yet know the exact cause,” explained Sgt. Todd Royce from the Utah Highway Patrol. “They attempted to fly in a medical helicopter but weather would not permit it.”
The highway was closed for some time but has been reopened with traffic traveling in alternating lanes. Short delays are expected.
