Got a prom, wedding or special event planned in the next year? If so, mark Friday, Jan. 28 and Saturday, Jan. 29 on your calendar for the annual Holiday Spring Fest 2011 sponsored by the USU-CEU Cosmetology Department.
Area florists, photographers, caterers, crafters, jewelers, scrapbookers, printers, hair and nail experts and day spas owners will fill the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center with booths to help you plan your special event. Spring Fest showcases wedding cakes, home decorations, candles and announcements. It is an inclusive one-stop shopping for proms, weddings and special events.
Each day, a fashion show by Girard Weddings will feature the latest in prom and wedding dresses as well as tuxedos. Friday’s show is at 6 p.m. and Saturday’s show is at 1 p.m. The backdrop is by Party Express.
Cosmetology instructor Debbie Prichard is excited over the expanded number of community businesses who are having tables in the show including Forbidden Fruit, Price Floral, Love Floral, Pampered Chef, Oliveto Fine Gifts, Bryner Photography, Fresh Market, Scentsy, Capture the Moment by Jana, Streamline Auto Detailing, Cedar Creek Crafts, Be Young Essential Oils, Dunkers, Apple Country Crafts, Carbon Copy Center, Tupperware and My Hair Glamour.
All funds earned at Spring Fest go towards the CEU Scholarship Fund. Adults are $4, students with an activity card are $2 and children are free.
