The USU Eastern Choir Department hosted its first concert for the year, titled “Fall Sing.”

Conducted by Larry Martin, the USU Eastern Concert Choir and Chamber Choir performed various classical pieces for those in attendance Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Mikaleen Mellor was invited to perform with the choir as a soloist in their first song selection, “Mass in G.”

Song selections ranged from spiritual to contemporary, including pieces from “Les Miserables” and “Jekyll and Hyde.”

To finish the performances, the choirs combined to sing “The Lord Bless You and Keep You,” a song commonly sung by choirs. Those who had sung the song before were invited to join the choir on stage.
