With the days cooling and the holiday season lurking ever nearer, the USU Eastern Choirs are proud to present their Holiday Concert Wednesday, Dec. 7.
Two performances will be offered to the community, one at 6:30 that evening and another at 8. Performances will take place on the university’s campus in the Central Instruction Building in Room 120.
“Hopefully there’s something for everyone,” said the choir’s director Larry Martin. “I really expect this concert to go off very well.”
The repertoire at the event will include numbers from classic, well-known carols to Renaissance Christmas music.
The concert will take its place as the second for Martin, who started teaching at the university earlier this year.
“We’re not large in number, but they’re large in heart,” Martin said in regards to the choir. “The music they’re making is just amazing.”
Admission for the concert is $3 for adult tickets as well as $1 for all children under the age of 18 and for all university students.
