The USU Eastern Golden Eagles gave the community quite a show on Tuesday night as they asserted their dominance in the final four seconds to clinch a 65-64 win as Cam Bailey converted on a free throw and lifted the team to a victory.
The Lady Eagles performed earlier in the evening, putting up effort against the Badgers but unable to secure a win.
During timeouts and halftime, competitions took place and prizes were awarded courtesy of local businesses. Highlighting the giveaways was a free trip to Disneyland for two college students.
During halftime, Encore Dance Studio and the Carbon High drum line were able to perform. Also, the Eagles and the Badgeretes combined to perform a team routine.
Additional local talent was seen by the Rising Raptors, an after school program for elementary students, as they sang The National Anthem with the help of Ryan Morley on the ukulele.
Community members who came to support the Eagles were gifted with free t-shirts and food.
