Families flocked to the USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum to enjoy the annual free family day on Saturday.

This event welcomed all to peruse the exhibits, featuring archaeology, paleontology and geology of Eastern Utah. The children in attendance were treated to a multitude of activity possibilities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. including crafts, games, photos and more.

The Waffle Love Food Truck was parked outside of the museum throughout the day and ready to feed hungry patrons.

Also featured during the event was a presentation of Kevin T. Jones and Layne Miller’s new book entitled “Standing on the Walls of Time: Ancient Art of Utah’s Cliffs and Canyons.”
