The Utah State University – College of Eastern Utah drama department enacted William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” Tuesday at the Geary Theater in Price.

The play began running Nov. 10 and will continue through Saturday.

Wilford A. Woodruff and his wife Bethany Gilmour Woodruff play the star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet.

A lively cast of characters backs the two stars. Tyrell Clement, who portrays Tybalt, grew up in Huntington.

Director Todd Olsen was excited about taking on a difficult subject matter.

“Tackling any of Shakespeare’s plays is a daunting task,” Olsen said. “I give full credit to these artists that I have worked with over the past 25 rehearsals. They are to be commended.

Shows begin nightly at 7:30 p.m. Children under 6-years-old will not be permitted.
