USU-Eastern split a four-game series against #1 ranked Salt Lake Community College over the weekend.
USU-Eastern dropped the first game of the series 12-2, then bounced back Friday afternoon with a 9-7 victory. Saturday mirrored Friday’s events as SLCC took game one 11-9, then USU-Eastern bounced back in the series finale with a 5-4 win.
At 7-27, USU-Eastern sits in 5th place in the Scenic West Athletic Conference. Ranked #1 in the national rankings, SLCC sits in second place in the SWAC at 28-8.
USU-Eastern wraps up the regular season by hosting the College of Southern Nevada Coyotes on Friday and Saturday in Price.
