USU Eastern will host the 2015 SWAC Region 18 Tournament on Feb. 26-28 at the BDAC. The three day tournament will feature a slew of matchups as five teams join USU Eastern to battle it out for the region 18 championship.
The USU Eastern men’s basketball team will take to the court on Thursday against North Idaho College at 2 p.m. The Eagles ended conference play at 2-13 on the season and fell to NIC three times. If USU Eastern is successful against North Idaho in game one, the team will advance to take on Salt Lake Community College on Friday at 2 p.m.
The Lady Eagles will also host North Idaho College at a game on Thursday. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. If USU Eastern wins its first game, the team will meet Salt Lake Community College on the court on Friday at 5:30 p.m. The women finished the season at 8-7 in conference play with three wins against NIC.
