In the USU Eastern library on Thursday evening, author Josi Russell met with students and community members to present her novels.
Russell is a professor of English at the USU Eastern campus located in Blanding. The Price campus welcomed Russell with a book reading and signing that was free for all in attendance. Refreshments were served and attendees were able to enjoy a snippet from one of Russell’s novels.
Currently, Russell has two novels published. The first novel, “Caretaker,” is about a man on a spacecraft destined for a faraway planet. He wakes from his slumber to find that he is now in charge of getting everyone to the planet safely. He will spend the next 50 years of travel alone, or so he thinks.
The second novel, “Guardians,” follows the same main character who has finally reached the destination planet as he explores the new territory. Russell’s novels are available for purchase on amazon.com.
