The USU Eastern men’s soccer team took on the Snow College Badgers this weekend to complete their first half of conference play. Unfortunately, the game ended in a 5-0 loss. The Eagles’ mid-fielder and strikers played very well, taking several shots on the goal, but with good defense from Snow, they came up empty.
“In spite of the score, it looked as if we didn’t play well and got outclassed but, in all reality, we played very well. The Badgers just capitalized on our mistakes and we didn’t capitalize on our opportunities,” said head coach Jared Woodhouse.
The Eagles will hit the field again this Thursday at 1 p.m. at home against the Truckee Meadows Community College Lizards.
