USUE Men’s Soccer Places 3 Players on All-Region VXIII Teams

The Utah State University Eastern men’s soccer team had three players take home Region 18 All-Region honors. The awards were presented at the conference tournament, hosted by Salt Lake Community College, on Nov. 1 and 2.

Parker Huff earned 1st Team All-Region for the Eagles. The first-year midfielder from Farr West, Utah tallied one goal from the midfield position this season. He appeared in all 15 matches this season and was a starter in 12 of them.

Midfielder Talmage Woodhouse earned 2nd Team All-Region honors. Woodhouse scored two goals this season to go along with five assists. Out of Pleasant Grove, Woodhouse played his first season in an Eagle uniform, appearing in all 15 contests and as a starter in 10 of them.

Sophomore defender Alex Tholen finished the award receiving for USU Eastern with his 2nd Team All-Region honors. Tholen, from Snow Canyon High School in Saint George, appeared in 14 matches and was a starter for the Eagles in 12 of those contests. He helped lead the back line for the Eagles in his final season at USU Eastern.
