Fishing season is here. In order to enjoy fishing Utah’s waterways, residents 12 and older must have a valid license. Permits are available online at wildlife.utah.gov and at various stores throughout Carbon and Emery counties.
A one year license for Utah residents 14 to 65 is $26 per year. A senior license is available for those 65 and older costing $21 annually. Children 12 and 13 may get a junior permit that costs $5 per year and children 12 and under are free to fish with an adult with a current license.
