Royce O’Neale of the Utah Jazz will make two stops in Castle Country for the annual player appearance and youth camp on Tuesday, June 18. O’Neale will begin the day in Price at the Carbon County Event Center at 1 p.m. He will then make his way to Castle Dale for an event at 3 p.m. at Emery High School.
O’Neale is a small forward for the Utah Jazz. He made his NBA debut on Oct. 21, 2017 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He played in 87 games in the 2018-19 season, including five playoff appearances where he averaged 10.6 points per game. O’Neale played college ball at the University of Denver and Baylor University.
The free events on June 18 are open to all members of the community while local youth are eligible to take part in the clinic. Following the skills clinic, O’Neale will be on hand to sign autographs and take photos with fans.
