Utah Jazzman Royce O’Neale made stops in both Carbon and Emery counties on Tuesday as part of a series of summer youth camps throughout Utah.
The free events were open to all members of the community and began with skills camps for local youth. Young basketball enthusiasts were led through a series of drills with O’Neale and staff members before the meet and greet portion. Fans of all ages lined up for a chance to meet O’Neale and take photos with him. The Jazzman also signed countless autographs for attendees.
O’Neale, a small forward, made his NBA debut on Oct. 21, 2017 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He played in 87 games in the 2018-19 season, including five playoff appearances where he averaged 10.6 points per game. O’Neale played college ball at the University of Denver and Baylor University.
