Cisneros brings more than 25 years of banking and lending experience to the position

Press Release

Zions Bank has promoted Valerie Cisneros to manage its Price branch, located at 45 S. Carbon Ave. As branch manager, Cisneros is responsible for overseeing day-to-day branch operations, new accounts, consumer and commercial loans, financial transactions and customer service. She replaces long-time Price branch manager Erroll Holt, who retired in November after 45 years at Zions Bank.

Cisneros brings more than 25 years of banking and lending experience to the position. Born and raised in Carbon County, she began her banking career in Salt Lake City as a loan processor with Zions Bank’s mortgage loan division. After moving back to Price, she opened her own mortgage office, which eventually grew to employ three loan officers and a loan processor. She operated the mortgage office full time for six years and then scaled back to part time for another 10 years.

Cisneros returned to Zions Bank in 2018 as a personal banker in the Price branch. In 2020, she was promoted to assistant branch manager of the Castle Dale branch and, shortly thereafter, was promoted to manager of that branch.

“It’s wonderful to be back at the Price branch, working with and providing banking services to many great people I’ve known over the years and meeting new people,” Cisneros said.

Active in her community, Cisneros has been involved in leadership of the local little league and American Legion baseball programs. She’s also served as a Carbon High School booster club member, a recreation league softball and volleyball coach, and a youth group volunteer in her church. She is an active member of the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce and is on the executive board of the Fuller Foundation of Carbon/Emery Counties.

Cisneros and her husband, Jeff, are the parents of two married children, and they just celebrated the birth of their first grandchild.
