Carbon County Press Release

You may notice something different while driving down 100 North in Price. The Carbon County Office of Tourism has added visitor center banners marking the official location for the county’s visitor center.

Due to feedback from visitors to our area, the visitor center was in need of better signage making it easier to find.

“I hope that this helps resolve a lot of the confusion our visitors were feeling when they were trying to locate our visitor center,” said Tina Henrie, Carbon County Tourism Specialist.

She went on to say that the Carbon County Office of Tourism also has many partners throughout the communities who have brochure racks provided by the office so that there is more than one place to access information. City buildings, restaurants, hotels and most gas stations offer this service. In the future, the office of tourism hopes to work with USUE, Price City, Helper City, Wellington City and East Carbon City for each to have their own designated visitor information space.

The banners were purchased locally and installed by the Carbon County Maintenance Deptartment.

The Carbon County Visitor Center is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
