BEAR Press Release
The speakers for the general BEAR meeting on June 8 are Leah Labato and Thomas Smith from the office of Utah Vocational Rehabilitation. They will speak about utilizing individuals with a disability as a workforce advantage. Subjects will include defining a disability, disability etiquette in the workplace, specific disabilities, accommodations and how to participate in the program.
The presentation will take place at the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center Alumni Room and it will start at 8 a.m. and last about one hour. The public is welcome. Light refreshments will be served at the session.
