Sixteen students from the Utah State University – College of Eastern Utah Sun Center worked tirelessly Monday and Tuesday to move books and shelves so the Price City Library could receive new carpet as part of a remodeling effort.
Price City librarian Norma Procarione was excited to receive the volunteer help.
Procarione said, “It’s always neat to get new carpet, new blinds and new furniture; it’s just like remodeling from scratch all over again.”
The library will close its doors until the remodel is complete on Sept. 28.
A smaller, temporary facility will be open Wednesdays through Fridays from 8-6 p.m. until the regular facility is reopened.
