Desert Thunder Raceway hosted stock car races throughout the Fourth of July weekend after inclement weather threatened to wash out the events.
Track crews worked tirelessly to rid the course of any trace of heavy rains that pounded the area earlier in the week.
Various cars and trucks, painted every imaginable color and named things like “The Mystery Machine” and “Pink Panther”, participated in the events.
Desert Thunder Raceway will host another set of races July 29-30.
