During Wellington City’s recent planning and zoning meeting, two new businesses, All American Fabrication and Desert Design, were presented to the commission.
All American Fabrication is founded by Dustin Taylor. The business will be on Main Street in Wellington in the old diesel alignment shop. The fire department has already scheduled to check the building for safety measures. Welding, fabrication and manufacturing welding will take place in this building. A business license was approved by the commission.
Desert Design is a business started by a couple living in Wellington. They are online crafters using 3D printing. They are planning on making toys, mainly of the smaller variety. The couple had some examples to show the commission members during the meeting. The business will be ran through their home and they hope to expand in the future to a storefront. Desert Design was also approved for a business license.
Next, commission member Cory Moosman made the announcement of his decision to gift a portion of his property to Wellington City. This section of land will be used to make a more accessible road to access the pond in Wellington. Moosman just needs approval from the Wellington City Council, then further discussion and planning can take place.
