For the third consecutive year, Dr. Matthew Brady and his team at Eastern Utah Family Medicine teamed up with Castleview Hospital and the What a Woman Wants Expo to determine who the Castle Valley’s cutest babies are.

The cutest baby contest was hosted during the expo on Saturday morning. There was no cost for the children to be entered into this contest; they were only prompted to bring their best smiles.

A large number of babies and toddlers waddled, crawled, walked proudly and were carried onstage by their family members to show off their best sides. Talents were also on display with one gifted young girl crooning to Disney’s “Frozen” classic “Let It Go” and another youngster showing his basketball skills.

Several members of the USU Eastern cosmetology department served as judges while the event was emceed by Amanda Paiz of Castleview Hospital and Marketing Elevated. With three categories, there were many options for winners.

Best dressed was awarded to Swayd Lynn Haney, who rocked an outfit covered in sunflowers. Cutest personality was awarded to Bryella Kailyn Ann Fish, the aforementioned singing talent. The overall winner was Bowan Allred, whose smile easily won over the crowd and judges.

While not all of the contestants won titles, grab bags were given to each that had entered. Those that won were awarded with a photography mini-session with Fire & Ice Photography as well as bragging rights.
