Carbon was home on Thursday against the 3-1 Richfield Wildcats. The Lady Dinos got themselves into trouble in this match, losing the first two sets 25-19 and 25-20.
In a must-win set, the Lady Dinos took the third 25-18 to make it 2-1. Carbon was not able to force a fifth set, however, and fell in the fourth 25-22.
The Lady Dinos (8-4, 1-2 Region 12) will travel to Moab on Tuesday to take on Grand (10-4, 2-2 Region 12). They will then head to Blanding on Thursday to play the first place Broncos (15-2, 4-0 Region 12).
