Sophomore Dillon Wilstead scored a game-high 22 points to lead Emery over Region 15 foe Grand Friday night, 75-42.
Wilstead has come on strong of late, averaging 16.8 points per game over his last six contests. Bailey Faimalo chipped in 13 and Dawson Jensen poured in 12. Brendon Jorgenson was the other Spartan in double figures with 10.
Emery (8-5, 2-1 Region 15) currently sits in a two-way tie for second place with Richfield. The Spartans will host Region 14 leader Parowan on Tuesday. The game can be seen on ETV Channel 10 beginning at 7 p.m.
