Tuesday evening found teachers, parents, students and friends alike gathered in the glow under the golden arches while supporting local elementary school, Wellington Elementary.
Dubbed McTeacher’s Night, the two-hour block from 5:30-7:30 p.m. offered community members a win-win situation where by dining in the restaurant, a portion of proceeds would be donated to the school.
Members of the faculty attended the event and helped out by socializing and delivering food when possible.
