Help Me Grow Utah is a no-cost helpline that is available to provide information and referral to providers, parents, physicians and more. Through Help Me Grow Utah, entities are able to obtain knowledge and resources that will further assist them in making a different in children’s lives.
Through referral forms and in-service schedules, Help Me Grow Utah provides materials and information that give children a fun environment to learn in. The Price City Library utilizes Help Me Grow Utah, as well as United Way of Eastern Utah, each year when hosting the Dr. Seuss themed Books, Balls and Blocks event.
This free event welcomed a multitude children from ages zero to five along with their families to the library on the morning of March 6 to enjoy a number of different activities that were so engaging and enjoyable that the children hardly realized that they were also learning.
Creating a fish bowl portrait to stacking the “Cat in the Hat’s” hat, creating a “truffula,” constructing creations with large blocks, frolicking with balloons and more encouraged the youngsters in attendance to freely play and learn with fellow children in the community.
