The Green River city council met for its monthly meeting on Tuesday evening.
During the meeting, it was discussed that the city of Green River recently acquired the west industrial park lands and is suggesting the following zones for the area: heavy, medium, light, open and A1. One section of a dried up riverbed is suggested to be changed from open to agriculture.
The next step is to have a public hearing and present these zonings to the public. The last time any zoning changes were made to the city of Green River was in 2011.
