Another great donation for the nonprofit Carbon and Emery Caring for Kids programs came in the form of a recent exercise night.
Each organization in its respective county is responsible for ensuring that children in the area do not go home from school without food to eat. The USU Eastern Social Work Club worked diligently to organize a Zumba Caring for Kids night that was hosted on April 12 at The Tuscan.
For just a $5 entrance donation, those in attendance were able to exercise the night away while supporting a worthy cause. The club was successful in earning $243 that will donated to the nonprofit for any possible needs.
“Thank you to all who attended and thank you Kamrie Simmons for collaborating with us,” shared the organization’s creator Marcy Loveless. “We live in fantastic area.”
