Emery Holds Richfield Scoreless and Picks Up Win *Photo Gallery*

Emery had the home field advantage on Thursday evening against the Richfield Wildcats. The Spartans held Richfield scoreless for their last game before state playoffs.

The Spartans struggled to find the net in the first half and ended the half 0-0. They found success in the second half with Jimmy Behling and Spencer Hadfield knocking three goals into thenet. Behling was able to find the net once and Hadfield rounded out the score with two goals of his own. Tayvan Cook also earned a shutout in the win for Emery and game ended 3-0.

During the game, Emery seniors Tanyon Allred, Parker Sermon, Sebastian Highes-Vieria, Tayvan Cook, and Jimmy Behling were all recognized.

Emery will be at home again next Thursday, May 3rd, for the first round of state playoffs.
