Emery headed to Moab to face the Grand County Red Devils on Tuesday.
The Lady Spartans did not waste time and put the game out of reach in the first with a 26-3 quarter. Things did not improve for the Red Devils, who failed to reach double-digit scoring in any single quarter. Emery cruised on to complete the 68-25 victory.
Kinlee Toomer lead the Spartans with 13 points followed by Megan Jensen with 11. Bailey Huggard and Kinlee each pulled down 8 rebounds in the contest. The Spartans had 44 boards and 21 steals as a team and forced 33 Red Devil turnovers.
Emery (14-0, 5-0 Region 15) will welcome San Juan (8-6, 3-2 Region 15) into the Spartan Center on Thursday evening. Stream the game live online.
