It is with great excitement that we announce the opening of the Crisis Receiving Center coming to Price, UT in June, 2024! The Crisis Receiving Center is a 23 hour program where adults 18 and older can come to stabilize from a psychiatric crisis. This could include suicidal ideation, intense emotional overwhelm and/or crisis that can occur due to substance use. Individuals will have a period of time to work with nursing and medical staff, peer support specialists and/or case managers to get connected to resources within the community upon their discharge from the Receiving Center. Individuals may also be appropriate for the Social Detoxification Program housed within the Receiving Center. Individuals may stay for longer than 23 hours in the Social Detoxification Program to work with medical staff and peer support/case management to stabilize through the detoxification process and get connected to resources and services within the community upon discharge.

Our criteria for the receiving center and social detox are

Four Corners Crisis Receiving Center will be offering Social Detoxification at the Receiving Center, Social Detox will be done in a residential setting within the Crisis Receiving Center. We will have 24/7 Nursing Staff, Medical providers, Therapist and Case Management/Peer Support. We will be able to detox individuals off of Alcohol, Opioids, Stimulants, Benzodiazepines along with stabilizing pregnant people who suffer from substance use disorder. The Crisis Receiving Center Social Detox will be client centered when it comes to the length of stay for the client, which means the client could be there for 3-7 days depending on how the client and provider feel they are doing. We will use medication to help the clients with their withdrawal symptoms while being able to assess the client with the ASAM assessment so there is a warm hand off to the next level of care when discharged from the facility.

On intake our nurses will assess the client to make sure that the client meets the need for the level of care that we will offer. If the client needs a higher level of care we will facilitate that with the client and make sure they get to the appropriate level of care that will fit the client’s needs.

Like our Crisis Receiving Center the Social Detox will be fully funded which means individuals with no insurance can access the social detox along with individuals with insurance.

This service is voluntary for the client which means we are not a lockdown facility. Our facility will be smoke free and there will also be rules that clients need to follow. This service is for individuals who are over the age of 18 years of age.
