Carbon County Sheriff Jeff Wood visited the Wellington City Council on Wednesday evening to highlight Wellington Police Chief Rory Bradley.

Sheriff Wood outlined a recent situation that Chief Bradley found himself in when he had to make a split-second decision. Chief Bradley saved the life of a local citizen when he administered the lifesaving Narcan in an overdose situation. Sheriff Wood wished to recognize and praise Bradley for his hard work.

Mayor Joan Powell also wished to recognize local law enforcement.

The Wellington City Fire Department, Bradley, officers Boe Minchey and Chris Pugliese, along with Utah Highway Patrol, were commended for their work in responding to Los Jilbertos in the early morning hours when it was demolished by a semi truck.
