Troy James Knapp, the infamous “Mountain Man” has been captured on Ferron Mountain this morning, a spokesperson from the Emery County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
Officers from Sanpete, Emery, and Sevier Counties assisted in taking Knapp into custody near Ferron Reservoir around 10 a.m.
Knapp has been captured previously on trail camera footage wielding a firearm and has allegedly burglarized multiple cabins in Kane, Iron, Garfield, Sevier, and Sanpete Counties.
