The Pinnacle Lady Panthers and Green River Lady Pirates, each looking to advance in the 1A State Volleyball Tournament over the weekend, represented their home teams before being sent home after their play-in game and two matches, respectively.

Starting off their state journey against Valley on Friday, the Lady Panthers fell to the Buffaloes after three sets and forfeited their chance to advance in the tourney and face off against Rich in the playoffs.

The Lady Pirates similarly took to the net Friday and battled against Duchesne. The match fell to the Eagles’ favor after three sets with Green River scoring their highest at 22.

The same day, Green River faced off against Bryce Valley but similarly fell after three sets and were sent home afterward.
