Goats, sting rays, vendors, food and more drew the community to the Carbon County Fairgrounds throughout the past couple of weeks to celebrate the annual Carbon County Fair.

Beginning with the Carbon County Search and Rescue Demolition Derby that took place on Aug. 12 and concluding on the evening of Aug. 27, there was no shortage of fun activities and experiences for the entire family to enjoy.

The quilt show and 4-H exhibit were hosted inside the event center at the fairgrounds. Each year, quilts are made and given to the local law enforcement officers to aide in whatever situation they may find themselves in.

A sting ray exhibit also took place during the fair, drawing those in that wished to touch and feed the sea creature. There was also an animal exhibit with barnyard mammals such as goats, ducks, horses, chickens and the like.

A carnival, motocross race, booths, live entertainment, food trucks, contests and fire performers are just a few of the other amenities and experiences that were available for fair-goers to enjoy.
