In its first year in business, 22 Clothing earned a prestigious title as it was voted the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce’s Best Spot to Holiday Shop.
Through a series of Facebook polls, the chamber listed a variety of local stores as part of the competition. Voters took time to cast their vote on each poll to determine the overall winner, which was announced on Tuesday.
“Thank you all so so much for taking time out of your day to vote for us,” 22 Clothing owner Brittnie Arroyo shared. “You guys have no idea just how much this means to us.”
22 Clothing, located on Price’s Main Street, boasts high-quality women’s fashions, including shirts, pants, blouses and dresses, at an affordable price. Accessories are also on hand, including jewelry, sunglasses and shoes as well as swimsuits and shorts.
“My biggest thing is I want to keep my prices affordable,” Arroyo said. “I don’t want people to have to travel out of town to go shopping for clothes. I want people to be able to afford to shop local.”
Other businesses were also recognized for their efforts to make holiday shopping in Carbon County a breeze. Runner up businesses included Hibbett Sports, TougHer Apparel and Apple Country Crafts.
“Congratulations to 22 Clothing and to all of those who participated,” the chamber shared. “Thank you for your service to our community this holiday season.”
