Jayden Flemett, Cody Lowe and Gavin Robinett each homered in the Carbon Dinos’ doubleheader sweep of the North Sanpete Hawks Tuesday afternoon in Helper.
Carbon won game one 7-6 and game two 9-5.
Zac Bradley went 5 2/3 in the game one, allowing just one earned run on six hits while striking out six Hawks. Chase Morgan pitched the final 1 1/3 in relief.
Collin Lewis had a double and a single, going 2-2 with and RBI. Ty Anderson had two RBIs with a triple. Robinett hit a solo home run in the game, his first of the year.
The Dinos scored a single run in the bottom of the seventh for the walk-off win.
Lowe and Flemett hit home runs in the game two to lead the Dinos to the 9-5 win. Flemett went 2-3 with three RBIs. Lowe had two RBIs, going 1-3. Anderson, Lewis and Kameron Gunter each chipped in an RBI apiece.
Lowe also got the win on the mound, falling just an out shy of a complete game. He struck out six while allowing four earned and 10 hits.
Carbon (10-7, 6-2 Region 12) has won four in a row and five of its last six. The Dinos will look to sweep the Hawks (4-12, 0-5 Region 12) on Friday in the rubber match of the series in Mt. Pleasant.
