As a part of all of the fun, enjoyment and tradition that is known and expected from the annual Greek Festival, the 5K for the festival took place on Saturday.
The run began at 8 a.m. at the church and took participants on a loop around town, passing Sutherlands and traveling back down into the neighborhood before finishing once more at the church.
At the end of the race, water and apples were provided. Runners were also given a $5 coupon for the festival and a $3 off membership coupon to Fitness World.
