American Legion posts #3 of Price and #21 of Helper inВ conductionВ with the Marine Corps League will be conducting memorial services from Helper to Wellington on Memorial Day.

The services will take place at:

Helper City Cemetery: 9 a.m.

Price City Cemetery: 11 a.m.

Price City Cliff View Cemetery: 12:30 p.m.

Wellington City Cemetery: 2 p.m.

All active duty, retired members, guardsmen, and all other former military members have been requested to attend the sessions to honor those who have gone before.

“That is a debt that no one will ever be able to repay,” said Commander Neldon Huff of post #3 in Price. “It’s from the dedication and want for freedom and giving people a choice of how to be an American and giving them the free choice of being here.”

He concluded with these words:

“I take my hat off to the legion members for their dedication with continuing to serve even after their military services are finished.”
